This work is another experimental branch off of the Cultivation project I did in 2005. Though I have limited the color possiblities to just black and white. For these works, I simply applied black paint in sequence after the white paint dried and vice versa until the works finished themselves. The paint dries and forms a texture so that each time I'm pressing the panels into the paint they are touching at gradually smaller points of contact. The stark contrast shows off the forms that emerge from this process.
