This was a major body of work for several years and I was and still am very curious about the variations that this series produced. The method that I used to make them was essentially the same for all of them, random colors, shapes and arrangement. These random figures were determined by lotteries, dice rolls and anything else that I could thing of at the time to have formal decision making within the frame be determined by a chance occurance.
Trying to keep to the rules I set up I felt that I didn't need to do anything to the system once it was set, because the dynamicism of the works would show themselves on their own. They are still quite interesting to me and I value them as a butterfly collector values his collection of various rare species.
